How Does Entrepreneurship Help YOU

We recently published a post about how entrepreneurship helps the community .   Basically, it boils down to this: entrepreneurship creates jobs.  Yes, this applies to the business community, but are individuals impacted too?  Of course!  

1.   Inspires your creativity

Humans are innately creative.   Sometimes we don’t know how to express ourselves creatively (*raise your hand, fellow Type-Aers*), but it’s in there.   When you are surrounded by risk-takers, out-of-the-box thinkers, and doers, there’s no doubt that your creativity will soar.

2.   Keeps things local (industry, products, etc.)

Sure, big businesses have their purpose.   But I think we can all agree that we love supporting locally-owned businesses or having the option to find whatever we need within walking distance of our homes or where we work.   More often than not, local entrepreneurs are right outside your door, and their products, services, and advice are always awesome!

3.   Perspective – test your ideas

You may not consider yourself an entrepreneur, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have a million ideas floating around that pretty little head of yours.   When you’re surrounded by an entrepreneurial community, you’ll find the support you need to discuss, grow, and test your idea.   Plus, you’re in a safe space because you’re surrounded by people who have been on the same journey, not the judgmental family members ruining Thanksgiving.

4.   Networking galore

There’s more to networking that happy hour.   Networking is making genuine connections, not passively collecting business cards.   Finding your peer-to-peer support system and community grow and learn is a priceless benefit.
