Local Entrepreneur Ben Rao Commits $7,500 to Boost Small Businesses in Lee’s Summit

In a bold move to foster growth and community among small businesses, local entrepreneur, and founder of Bridge Space, Ben Rao has announced a new initiative to help subsidize and grow emerging enterprises in Lee’s Summit and the surrounding areas. Rao, a seasoned entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in marketing, real estate, and various other ventures, is setting aside $7,500 to support new businesses and encourage them to establish roots in Lee’s Summit.

A Vision for Growth and Community

Rao’s vision goes beyond just providing financial assistance. His goal is to create a vibrant community where small businesses can thrive together, fostering collaboration and creating new job opportunities right here in our backyard.

“I want to see people connecting, learning from each other, and building a stronger business community in Lee’s Summit,” Rao says. “It’s about more than just money; it’s about creating a place where entrepreneurs can support one another and grow together.”

The Initiative: Who Qualifies?

To be eligible for this grant and the benefits it offers, businesses must meet the following criteria:

New Business: Must have been in operation for less than 18 months.
Non-Member Status: Cannot currently be a member of Bridge Space.
Revenue: Must have an annual revenue of less than $500,000.

This program has no set end date and will continue until the funds Rao has set aside are fully utilized.
