A Million Dollar Merger in Kansas City
Mike Wrenn, the CEO of Affinity Worldwide, donated $1 million to support local entrepreneurship in Kansas City.
According to Startland News, the Kansas City Startup Foundation , a nonprofit focused on merging startups in Kansas City’s ecosystem, was donated ownership of CEED programs and staff.
The Kansas City Startup Foundation “now operates Startland News, the Kansas City Startup Village, Village Square Coworking Studio, MECA Challenge, 1Week KC and Startup Crawl KC.”
A celebration of the merger is scheduled for Fall 2017.
