Bridge Space Awards Jon Cundiff Accelerator Award
As Bridge Space celebrates its one-year anniversary, there is a lot to look back on. When we opened this 14,000 square foot entrepreneur incubator in September 2018, Ben, Amber (that’s me!), and Blade didn’t know what would happen. In a mere 12 months, we have had more than 250 local businesses take advantage of the building amenities (
open coworking
,
private offices
,
meeting rooms
, podcast studio, and
business mailboxes
). We have hosted 30+ speaks on our stage, offering
free business classes
to the community. And, on a personal level, our small-but-mighty team has donated more than 700 hours of community service time back into Lee’s Summit.
In October 2019, Bridge Space hosted a charity Chilifest competition that raised more than $6,000 for three local charities. During the event, Bridge Space Founder and President Ben Rao awarded Jon Cundiff the 2019 Bridge Space Accelerator Award for his contribution to moving entrepreneurship forward in Lee’s Summit.
We describe Bridge Space as an entrepreneur incubator located in downtown Lee’s Summit. We help entrepreneurs, startups, and side-hustles alike the space to focus on growing their business with a low barrier to entry. We even offer a coaching program and a hyper-focused mastermind . In addition to the building amenities, Bridge Space is Lee’s Summit’s nucleus for business growth.
The Bridge Space Accelerator Award began in 2018 to recognize and celebrate companies and individuals who dedicate their time, efforts, and contributions to entrepreneurship.
Jon is Chair of the Board of Directors for Velocity Lee’s Summit , a nonprofit focused on startups in Lee’s Summit.
The 2018 winner of the Bridge Space Accelerator Award was MC Power Companies .
